Spend any amount of time in Las Vegas and a few things become fairly obvious. There's traffic on Las Vegas Blvd. at all times of the day, the hotels are nearly filled to capacity on a consistent basis, there's a steady stream of planes landing and leaving McCarran International Airport, and the attractions of Vegas are getting more and more spread out.

If you're content to stay in your own hotel, or just want to visit the ones within walking distance, you won't be bothered by the ever expanding town. If you want to move from the Strip to downtown Vegas, and don't mind cabs or setting on a bus besides some total stranger, life is good. But, if you like the freedom of having your own set of wheels in Vegas, and you didn't drive to town, car rental is in your future.

Vegas Car Rental

Car rental places in Las Vegas take their cue from the casinos that attract people to the Nevada desert. Some budgets limit casino patrons to the nickel slots. When these people rent a car, price is a primary concern, and cheap car rental is available throughout the town. Other visitors have more cash to play with, and they head to the crap table or blackjack pit. For them, a place like Hertz Rent A Car might have a bigger, more expensive machine to cruise the Strip in.
